Our Story

Wild at Play was created out of a deep belief in the power of nature to nurture young minds. Drawing from early childhood education and a love of the natural world, we offer a space where toddlers can explore, imagine, and grow through meaningful outdoor experiences.
Each session is designed to align with developmental needs while allowing children the freedom to learn at their own pace — through mud, movement, and wonder.
Meet the Mom behind Wild at Play
Hi, I’m Steph! I was born and raised in Northern Rhode Island and currently call Chepachet my home. My husband and I live by the water with our two wildlings.

As a former early childhood educator turned stay-at-home mom, I am passionate about raising kind and confident children. After a decade in the classroom, I’m now soaking up every minute exploring the outdoors while watching my two little ones fall in love with nature too.​
Life with two little ones can be chaotic, but I try to find the joy in the mess and have fun along the way. I hope you will join us on our next wild adventure!
